Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Marifell software products and this website. Product-specific behavior may vary according to features enabled and configured by the user or organization.

2. Google user data used by AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl

Gmail send permission

AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl use Gmail authorization to send application-generated messages on behalf of the connected Google account. This may include password-reset emails and other emails initiated or configured within the application. The application does not require permission to read the user's Gmail inbox for this functionality.

Google Drive file permission

AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl use Google Drive authorization for supported application-managed file and backup workflows. The permission is used to work with files created or opened through the application, consistent with the permission granted by Google.

3. Use of Google user data

Google user data is used only to provide and maintain the Google-connected features described above. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

4. Storage, security, and data protection

AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl use technical and operating-system safeguards to protect Google OAuth authorization credentials and Google user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are not stored in ordinary application settings or configuration files. Depending on the Google-connected feature, OAuth credentials are protected using Windows Credential Manager or are encrypted at rest using the Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI). Machine-level credentials used for unattended backup and notification operations are protected using DPAPI with machine-bound protection and are stored in credential files with restricted Windows access-control permissions. Access to those credential files is limited to authorized Windows identities required for provisioning, administration, and unattended application operation.

Communications with Google APIs and Google authorization services use secure HTTPS/TLS connections. OAuth credentials are used only to authenticate the Google-connected functionality authorized by the user. The application does not require or store the user's Google Account password.

Where sensitive credential data is temporarily processed in application memory for protected machine-level storage, the application uses security measures designed to limit unnecessary retention of decrypted credential material.

Locally stored Google OAuth authorization credentials are removed when the applicable Google integration is disconnected through the application. Users may also revoke the application's authorization through their Google Account settings.

Marifell maintains reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Google user data processed and reviews these safeguards as the applications and their integrations evolve.

5. Sharing and sale

Marifell does not sell Google user data and does not share Google user data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Data is transmitted to Google APIs as necessary to perform the Google-connected operation requested or configured by the user.

6. User choice and revocation

Connecting a Google account is optional for Google-integrated functionality. Users can revoke application access through their Google Account third-party connection settings.

7. Data retention and deletion

AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl retain Google OAuth authorization credentials or tokens only for as long as necessary to maintain the Google-connected functionality authorized by the user.

Users may revoke the application's access to their Google Account at any time through their Google Account third-party connection settings. When Google integration is disconnected or authorization is revoked, the application will no longer use the revoked authorization to access Google APIs.

Google user data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the application functionality described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. Users may request deletion of Google user data associated with AeroVentory or ConsumablesControl by contacting aeroventory@gmail.com. Data subject to a valid deletion request will be deleted or securely destroyed unless retention is required by law.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

AeroVentory and ConsumablesControl's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when products, integrations or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
